Numerology and Personality Test

This morning I was having a conversation with a friend, she told me she has been reading numerology books for some time already. She believes numerology can really help a person to redirect, refocus their life and their strength as well as weaknesses.

As a psychology student, I do have multiple perspectives. Regardless of astrology, numerology, psychics, meditation and myer-briggs personality test, if we are able to develop self-awareness and self-regulation skills, probably we are the only one knows ourselves better than anybody else.

Why I say so? I came across foretelling twenty something years ago, I read some books about astrology and numerology, and of course I took the Myer-Briggs Personality Test less than a month ago.

My conclusion is, numerology or other personality books share a frame work and give us some ideas of how people's personality look like according to their birthday Chinese foretelling reads people by their birth date and exact birth time, then it shares information about your parents, siblings, and spouse. Myer-Brigg Personality Test analyzed an individual personality through questionnaire, this test is a lot more in-depth when it comes to analyzing our personality because participant needs to think before answering them.

There are books talking about eight different types of personality, but then if you read it through you will find yourself which personality type that you should belongs to. The answer is ... we have 2-3 personality types for each individual.

Well! Let's make it simple and remember what is self-awareness and self-regulation. Adjust ourselves according to the environment, but maintain our dignity and principle. Be open-minded by using a 4-dimensional viewpoint...then we are able to map out our own path.
