This was written by one of my classmates which I would like to share with all my friends. It's Gorgeous!
"If I were to define personality I would equate it to viewing life through my favorite kaleidoscope. This kaleidoscope is made with stained glass that is blue with milky currents of various shades of white running through its base. The end piece is a thick clear glass that is filled with hundreds of pieces of colored glass, intricate painted beads, and tiny turquoise rocks. Whenever I hold the kaleidoscope to the light I always see something new and with each turn of the circular end new designs are revealed. Sometimes the glass is cool and sometimes it is warmer depending on the environmental factors and the location that it is placed.
My mood is always enhanced after viewing life through the kaleidoscope with a bitter-sweet return to childhood innocence. Whenever I touch the glass I always have a memory of purchasing the kaleidoscope as it was a special occasion with my sister. The kaleidoscope was purchased in an antique shop in Texas after returning from living in England. This kaleidoscope seemed out of place on a shelf in Texas as I had looked for it in England but it was not to be found. It had been elusive. I enjoy the irony of this experience each time I look through the kaleidoscope. Personality is this way for me as it is elusive, multi-faceted, colorful, sentimental, ironic, beautiful, mutable and always better when it is held towards the light."
